These events are offered by MIT and/or the GSC and while not required, you may wish to participate in some of these events in addition to the MSRED Orientation events.
You may find more information about the GSC events and sign up for their Bulletins (though you should be automatically enrolled).

All international students for whom English is not their first language are required to take this test.
We have not scheduled any orientation activities during this period to accomodate this requirement
This time block is open for any studnet who is not taking the test

12:00 pm/Head to MIT Sailing Pavilion at 134 Memorial Drive (about a 10-15 minute walk from the CRE)
12:30-3:30 pm
Charles River Boat Cruise through Charles RIver and Boston Harbor
Lunch will be served on the boat and we will be back on the dock no later than 3:30 pm
The remainder of the day is open

Learn about hundreds of MIT’s student organizations with a wide variety of activities and interests including cultural and religious groups. ASA is a joint committee of the MIT Graduate Student Council (GSC) and the MIT Undergraduate Association (UA).
