MSRED Class of 2027 Orientation 

Tuesday Sept 1st*-Friday Sept 4th, 2026

Our MSRED Orientation is a required event.

Orientation is designed to help you become more familiar with the upcoming academic year,
what to expect, and what will be expected of you.
It will help you prepare to jump into a rigorous academic schedule.  

*Note: The CRE will not have any scheduled events on Sept. 1.
There is a central tetsing event for international student who are not native English Language speakers.

The Center for Real Estate will host a program-specific orientation for the MSRED students.
In addition, the Office of Graduate Education will host orientation events for all MIT graduates students.

Identification Cards/Access

Your Atlas dashboard is where you will find information about obtaining an MIT ID Card. 
Your cards will retain your campus access (classroom and residential buildings), your public transportation membership
(should you choose to sign up for an MBTA Pass), as well as various spaces at the Center for Real Estate.

International Students: Until you attend an Orientation Session hosted by the
International Student's Office (ISO) you will not be able to obtain an ID card.
